The history
The origins of the inn
Solitary and majestic, the King of Stone — Monviso (3841 m) — has stolen countless glances and fascinated travellers of every age. We are in the lands of the Marquisate, the last Occitan foothold, in the Po Valley where the river is born: a land scattered with monasteries and abbeys, from Staffarda to Revello and Rifreddo.
